TUTORIAL : MEMBUAT BLOG

Assalamualaikum, ini adalah tutorial yang pertama. Rasanya hampir semua orang tahu apa itu blog tapi jangan terkejut kerana masih ada yang kurang tahu bagaimana untuk membuatnya. Rata-ratanya bertanyakan soalan yang sama semasa berchatting dengan saya di facebook. Ada banyak laman web yang menawarkan kemudahan untuk blogging.

Untuk tutorial kali ini, saya gunakan blogger kerana ianya lebih simple dan anda tidak perlu tahu coding yang rumit untuk menghasilkan sebuah blog.

1. Pergi ke www.blogger.com, Sign in atau daftar masuk dengan menggunakan akaun gmail anda.


2. Masukkan display name atau nama yang akan digunakan setiap kali membuat entri baru. Anda boleh pilih untuk tanda pada email notification untuk mendapatkan update terkini dari blogger dan tanda pada I accept the Terms of Service untuk meneruskan pendaftaran blog.


3. Klik pada CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW.


4. Isikan blog title pilihan anda dan blog address/url. Klik pada Check Availability untuk memastikan url anda belum dipunyai oleh sesiapa.


5. Memilih template atau reka hias blog anda. Saya memilih simple dari Josh Peterson.


6. Klik start blogging.


7. Isikan title atau tajuk entri, isi kandungan entri dan labelkan entri anda tau boleh juga dibiarkan kosong. Klik preview untuk melihat pratonton entri anda, save dan setelah berpuas hati boleh la publish entri anda.

8. Tadaa! Dah siap. Sekarang tekan view post untuk melihat hasilnya.

Nick Vujicic

Ever heard of Nick Vujicic? Before you said anything, let's watch this video first.

Ok, you have watch it. Now how did you feel after watching this video?

His name is Nicholas James Vujicic or known as Nick Vujicic. He was born on 4th December 1982. He is a preacher, a motivational speaker and the Director of the non-profit organisation Life Without Limbs. Born without limbs due to the rare Tetra-amelia disorder, Vujicic had to live a life of difficulties and hardships throughout his childhood.However, he managed to get over these hardships and, at seventeen, started his own non-profit organization Life Without Limbs.

Throughout his childhood Nick dealt not only with the typical challenges of school and adolescence such as bullying and self-esteem issues; he also struggled with depression as he questioned why he was different to all the other kids surrounding him; why he was the one born without arms and legs. He wondered what was the purpose behind his life, or if he even had a purpose. As Nick grew up he learnt to deal with his disability and started to be able to do more and more things on his own.

In 2005 Nick was nominated for the "Young Australian of the Year" Award, which is a large honor in Australia, recognizing a young person for their excellence and service to their local community and the nation, as well as their own personal accomplishments. Nick recently made the massive move from Brisbane, Australia to California, USA, where he is the president of an international non-profit organization, and also has his own motivational speaking company; Attitude Is Altitude.

People say to me, "How can you smile?" he says. Then they realize there's got to be something more to life than meets the eye if a guy without arms and legs is living a fuller life than I am.

Maher Zain

Maher Zain, a name that recently got very famous and popular in Malaysia. I was a fan of him before the phenomenon of him exploded. Around April 2010 i started to listen to his album Thank You Allah. At that time i didn't expected such supports from Malaysian's fans. But then when the news about his concert will be held in Malaysia, that was the time when i really heard his name on news, radios and such. Even more he even came to IIUM Gombak for a special performance during the Palestine concert specially organized for the CONVEST10. Anyway, i really like the whole album and of course my favourite although it's hard to choose but i really like Always Be There, Hold My Hand,Thank You Allah and The Choosen One.

Maher Zain was born in Lebanon in 1982. He is a Swedish singer and music producer of Lebanese origin. He sings mainly spiritual Muslim songs and nasheeds. His first album Thank You Allah of 13 tracks and two bonus songs was released on 1 November 2009. Maher got his first keyboard when he was ten. He later entered university and got a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering.

After being involved for a while in the music scene as a music producer Maher was introduced to RedOne, a Swedish music producer of Moroccan origin in Sweden. In January 2009, Maher Zain began working on an album and signed with Awakening Records.Maher has toured the Middle East, the United States for a 5-city tour with Islamic Relief and has had a highly successful tour in Malaysia. Maher Zain first album titled Thank You Allah was ranked first in the Amazon World Music charts and ninth place in the chart R & B. His album went platinum in Malaysia.

In January 2009, Zain won Best Religious Song for 2009 from Nujoom FM radio for "Ya Nabi Salam Alayka".The music video "The Chosen One", which tells the story of the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad that is based on peace, and was recorded in Los Angeles.

Konsert dan Karnival Larian

Assalamualaikum,
Sedikit perkongsian. Pada 17 Julai 2010 akan diadakan sebuat konsert bertajuk "Konsert Demimu Al-Aqsa" bertempat di Stadium Tertutup Nilai bermula pukul 8.00-11.00 malam. Pengunjung boleh datang seawal pukul 5.30petang untuk berkunjung ke gerai-gerai dan pameran yang disediakan.

Pada hari yang sama juga, 17 Julai 2010 bertempat di Masjid Rahimah, Jln Greenwood Batu Cave akan diadakan Karnival Larian Islami , Kesihatan dan Kekeluargaan bermula 8 pagi hingga 5 petang.

Kareem Salama

Kareem Salama (in Arabic كريم سلامة), is an Egyptian America musician. He was born in Ponca City Oklahoma in 1978. He is known as the first American Muslim country music singer. His music is a hybrid of country, pop and rock music.Kareem Salama, literally translates to Generous Peace, that he also used as title of his first album. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a graduate degree in Law from the University of Iowa.

He has memorized classical western poetry and classical Arabic poetry. He enjoys boxing and riding horses.Kareem Salama highlights universal themes about love, home and family values. His songs are spiritual, without being overtly religious.

Kareem has performed in front of wide audiences as far as Rome and London. He also took part in a State Department European concert tour, performing in Paris. Kareem was also invited to dinner at the White House where he met President Barack Obama who said to Salama “You can sing!”. In October 2008, he also performed during the Global Peace and Unity (GPU) event.

"Generous Peace EP" is his debut single, with fully remastered version of the original recording from the album. the main track in English with additional refrain in Arabic.

After the success of the first two self-released albums Generous Peace and This Life of Mine, Kareem is now working on his first mainstream worldwide release tentatively due out in the spring of 2010 (to be released by newly formed LightRain Records). Kareem continues to work with friend and producer Aristotle Mihalopoulos as well as producers Rich Whiting and Dan Workman.

Here are some information for IIUM students who will be starting their new semester 1 2010/2011.

Since i am starting my 2nd year this new semester, here is the course outline taken from engineering website for all majors. Please check back since this might not 100% true. They might just have update or change it.
